Oh darling, let’s be adventurers.
I am a stay-at-home mother of two boys, ages 2 and 4.* I have a bachelors in Math and English and a Masters in Teaching. I have taught math in 5 different school districts (one of them was an online school) but am now delighted to change directions to focus on growing and learning with our sons. I don’t know yet what our homeschooling philosophy will be or what our days will look like, but I do know that I want the overarching theme to be the cultivation of a lifelong love of learning.
I have another ongoing blog for my creative writing adventures at https://ellipsesbysandra.wordpress.com/.
I am also in the process of researching best practices in education and writing a book about my stories, letters, and poems about teaching. Someday I’ll post more here about that.

I’ve moved to a new website: https://realworldlearners.com/. I am leaving this current blog (funschoolingadventures) intact but will not continue updating it. Please come visit me at my new website to see recent posts, find free educational printables (mostly math-related), get access to my latest learning resources, and follow stories about our ongoing funschooling adventures.
